So sayeth the prophet. Predicting the demise of Apple has cost a lot of investors and traders billions. Chinese consumers understand Apple's commitment to guarding their data and their privacy, and know full well that any Chinese-made smartphone is designed to spy on and track them. That's the reason Apple is gaining traction in the Chinese market. Huawei has already been caught implanting government tracking chips in their phones, for both foreign and domestic use.

There is also the undeniable superiority of iOS over Android.
