NASA's Artemis rocket is now in final preparations with a launch planned for Monday morning. Here's how to watch everything as it happens, including on an iPhone.

It's NASA's first Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, and it is standing ready on Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Alongside scientists and engineers, actors including Chris Evans will be contributing to the live coverage.

They'll be on the official NASA live webcast, which is already live and has been following through the six-hour preparation procedure ahead of the hoped-for 8:33 a.m. Eastern launch. The NASA stream is also being relayed over YouTube.

Alternatively, the launch can be watched via NASA's range of apps for Apple devices. There's the NASA iPhone and iPad app which is free on the App Store.

Plus there's also Apple TV app, which is also free and available via the Apple TV 4K's built-in app store.

Watch in VR

Oculus Rift owners will be able to watch a 360-degree VR view of the launch, currently scheduled to begin at 7:33 a.m. Eastern. Details of how to watch through the headset are all on the official Oculus Artemis site.

Alternatively, the group Space Explorers will be relaying the VR coverage in a Facebook Live session.
