Standing desks and VESA monitor arms are two product categories that really take your computing workspace layout to the next level. Once you have them it's very hard to imagine not having them. The reviewed product looks very well designed and is very attractive with the built-in drawer. The charging zone and charging ports are nice but not essential. One thing about this product that seems a tiny bit off is the size being less than a standard 30" x 60" desk size. Probably not an issue but if you have a couple of very large monitors it may seen a bit cramped. Also, I'd check to make sure the facia on this desk top does not interfere with your monitor arm mounting system.

Cable management is always an issue with these desks, especially when you have all of your computing gear plugged into a heavy UPS. You should always verify that the desk and frame you choose can handle the weight of everything you need to put on it. Some standing desks can handle well over 300 lbs which allows you to put more things on the moving part, like a CPU holder. I've even hung a slatwall panel from a standing desk to mount other equipment that connects to the computer, e.g., product prototypes under test, switches, gateways, etc.

If you can, test drive the standing desk you are considering before you buy it. Some of the standing desks I've seen in computer and furniture stores like Ikea were too wobbly for my liking at the standing height. The reviewed unit looks quite sturdy, which usually goes along with the pricier products.

I love standing desks. I even use a standing desk as a light-duty hobby workbench.
