Ahead of its streaming debut on July 29, 2022, Apple TV+ thriller "Surface" was launched in New York with cast and crew including Reese Witherspoon and Veronica West.
Following its teaser trailer in June, "Surface" has been launched at a red-carpet event in The Morgan Library & Museum near Grand Central Station in New York.
Showrunner, creator and writer Veronica West was joined by executive producers including Reese Witherspoon. "Surface" stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, from "The Morning Show," with Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Christin Park, and Ari Graynor.
"Set in high-end San Francisco," says Apple, "'Surface' stars Mbatha-Raw.... as Sophie, a woman who has suffered a traumatic head injury that has left her with extreme memory loss, believed to be a result of a suicide attempt."
"As Sophie embarks on a quest to put the pieces of her life back together with the help of her husband and friends," continues Apple, "she begins to question whether or not the truth she is told is in fact the truth she has lived."
The first three episodes of "Surface" will debut on Friday, July 29, 2022.
