Emmy winner Billy Crystal will star in "Before" as a child psychiatrist in what is slated as a limited drama series for Apple TV+.
Apple is in the middle of finalizing the details of the show, including "the size of the order," according to a report by Deadline.
Billy Crystal is set to play the child psychiatrist Eli. The series will revolve around the story of Eli, who "encounters a troubled young boy" as he's processing the recent death of his wife.
Crystal is the recipient of six Emmy Awards for his work in writing and performing. He has recently starred in works such as "Here Today," and "Monsters at Work."
Barry Levinson, who received four Emmys of his own, including for the work he had done for "The Carol Burnett Show," is set to direct the series.
On Wednesday, Apple revealed August premiere dates for series "Five Days at Memorial" and "Bad Sisters." The company announced it has renewed the basketball drama "Swagger" for a second season Thursday.
