Apple Vision Pro
Exploring iOS 17's second beta release and the first SDK for visionOS, plus finding the right accessories when traveling the globe, all on the AppleInsider podcast.
This week Apple released the software development kit for its Apple Vision Pro headset. It's meant to give developers the tools they need — but it also gave everyone a glimpse of just what Vision Pro can do.
It's still going to be many months before anyone can buy a Vision Pro, and possibly a couple of years before such a headset is affordable. But this week Apple released many, many betas and updates to its operating systems, and the big was iOS 17.
Now in its second developer beta, iOS 17 is starting to reveal extras that Apple hasn't mentioned before — such as the new improvements to haptic touch.
Also, as host Stephen Robles returns from his travels, it's time to look at holiday accessories for Apple users, just ahead of summer vacations.
