This does need to change. And not just Amazon.

Anyone ever notice that the phone company, AT&T, doesn't have their phone number on their home page? And yes, if you want to cancel or even downgrade your service, you're pretty much forced to find it using a web search, then wait on hold, because "All representatives are busy, but your call is very important to us. Please hold and your call will be answered in the order received." Then you have to listen to lousy, low-res instrumental music for an hour or so, or until your patience runs out. If you get someone, it will be an ESL rep 10-12 time zones away, reading from a script. Then you're put on hold for a "customer retention specialist." Then they hang up.

Your call is important, just not important enough to answer.
