The cast of Apple TV+ hit "Ted Lasso" stopped by "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" to offer some encouragement to help the host shake off his pre-show blues.
In a new "Late Show" skit, Stephen Colbert appears distraught at the idea of his show following the National Championship basketball game. In an effort to assuage his fears, the cast of "Ted Lasso" encourages him with inspirational speeches, playful jokes, and tough love.
The cast also lightly poked fun at both Apple TV+ and Tim Cook. They claimed they had to watch the National Championship on Colbert's TV because Apple TV+ "doesn't allow [them] broadcast channels."
"The only channel we get is Tim Cook announcing the new iPhone," Toheeb Jimoh joked.
"Ted Lasso" is Apple's hit sports comedy, with the third — and probably final — season rolling out now.
This isn't the first time Stephen Colbert has teamed up with Apple TV+, either. In August, a "Late Show" skit shared of some "deleted scenes" from the hit psychological drama "Severance."
