"Slow Horses" and "Bad Sisters" lead Apple TV+ Bafta nominations, with the streamer earning more than Disney+ or the UK's Sky Television.

Following its Bafta Film Awards win for "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse," Apple TV+ is now up for 15 awards at the British organization's television and television craft awards.

"Huge congratulations to all our nominees," said Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, in a statement. "Today a record number of entries in television and craft resulted in 128 nominations, demonstrating fantastic strength and depth in programming and talent in 2022."

Apple TV+ show "Bad Sisters," made by Merman, has nominations across five categories. It's been nominated in the Drama Series, Director, Scripted Casting, Titles & Graphic Identity, and — for Anne-Marie Duff — supporting actress categories.

"Slow Horses," made for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Productions, also gained five nominations, including for leading actor with Gary Oldman, and supporting actor with Jack Lowden. It's also competing in the Editing, Sound and for Daniel Pemberton and Mick Jagger, the Original Music categories.

Apple TV+ gained five other nominations, with three for "The Essex Serpent" by See-Saw Productions. That drama is nominated for Costume Design, Production Design, and Titles & Graphic Identity.

"Pachinko" is nominated in the International category, while Taron Egerton will compete with Gary Oldman for the Leading Actor award with his performance in "Black Bird."

The Bafta Television Craft Awards will be announced on April 23, 2023. The remaining Bafta Television Awards categories will be on May 14, 2023.

This year's 15 Bafta nominations for Apple TV+ puts it in fifth place behind the BBC, Channel 4, Netflix and ITV. Sky TV earned 14 nominations, while Disney+ scored 8.

The 15 Apple TV+ nominations is also almost double what it achieved in the Bafta Television categories in 2022.
