Apple should allow us to pay Apple directly to escape ads. Maybe via the Apple One service. Or Apple Two?Why should we have to when we already pay a premium for Apple products? It's not like they're short of cash, but of course Cook's sole aim is to fatten his wallet.
Back in Classic Mac OS Sherlock suddenly gained ads, and the backlash was such that Jobs rightly admitted the mistake and had them removed. Now Cook is shoving ads in as many places as he can get away with, we'll be advertised at on the home screen before long, maybe that's why there's a big empty space under the widgets. Even with paid services like Apple News, there're iAds. It's no different to paying for Netflix and getting ads. Cook needs to be reined in before people start to decide the Apple premium isn't as valuable as it once was.
