Apple’s iPhone 14 production targets are staying close to the number for the 13.
Bloomberg says that despite Apple internally anticipating a surge in interest ahead of the iPhone 14 launch, it’s now telling suppliers that production plans for 2022 will continue to mirror last year’s numbers.
However, at least one source said the mix has shifted toward more expensive models. Analyst Dan Ives suggests Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro could account for 85 percent of production, compared to 65 percent for the iPhone 13 Pro.
