Sonos releasing its own privacy-focused voice assistant in June

Unlike other voice assistants on the market, everything will occur on-device. The voice assistant won't record audio commands or send them to the cloud for processing. 

As far as I was aware, since 2019 Google Assistant has also done all it's processing on device, not sending voice commands to the cloud for processing. 

I have a very nice Sonos system now, but ended up disabling Google on it since it was redundant with other Assistant devices already in the rooms.  I don't think I'd be using Sonos voice assistant either, but I'll wait to pass judgment after they roll it out.
